We need your help to become a PTA School of Excellence

The TPES PTA is applying through the National PTA to become a PTA School of Excellence.
We believe we’re well-qualified for the program and are hopeful the National PTA recognizes the positive impact we’re having on students, teachers, families and the entire TPES community.
But we need your help to make this a reality!
Here are the steps the PTA will be taking this year:
- The PTA will collect feedback using required National PTA School of Excellence questions.
- Using initial feedback, the PTA will create and implement an Excellence Action Plan.
- In the spring, the PTA will ask you to complete the same required questions to measure our progress and impact.
- The PTA will submit a Community Impact Form (due June 15) to report on our action plan efforts and outcomes.
- We’ll (hopefully) earn the PTA School of Excellence designation!

2. Attend a listening session
The PTA will also host a couple listening sessions to help ensure accessibility, consistency and alignment across participants.
Right now, those are scheduled for:
- Wednesday, November 3 (8PM-9PM)
- Wednesday, November 11 (11AM-12PM)
They’re already on the PTA Calendar! Please block your schedule for those days/times and try to attend one of these sessions if you can.
